The soon approaching end to the porgie high limits (about a week away )is proving to be one very good year for our anglers!

Although mother nature has not been cooperating, Captain Bryon & Captain Chris O continue to have some wonderful catches!

Two days tied to the dock with the weather system low that sat off the New England coast, seemed to just bring up the fish for much anticipated 1st day back out.

Most fisher (persons) had close if not the limits!

EXTRA HOORAYS for the big catches of the day to Viola, from Middletown Ct. for her 8 lb seabass!! WOW and to Sheba of NYC a 4 lb porgie, showing  everyone the big fish are waiting for us! Not to mention the Striper brought in by Grandma Cory  &
grand-daughter Annie — JUST SHORT! Back to the water — dang! GO LADIES!!!!

In the past few days *SLABS* of fluke are making their way to  the fishing grounds, too bad we had to send back to the water a beauty of 6 lbs!

Don't forget the 1st opens the season for fluke!

Fishing is GREAT at Captain Leroy's !!!

WOW! A fantastic start to what IS (and has been so far) one of the best seasons of fishing with CAPTIAN LEROYS!

Capt. Bryon and Capt. ChrisO have had trips to the

LIMITS LIMITS LIMITS!!!

Giant scup have done all but jump in the boat themselves! Add in those LG seabass... What more can we say!!!! Both boats have been sailing daily and often a second trip!

One very very happy angler reeled in a 5 lb porgie!!?? Another an 8 lb sea bass!!! SOMEONE HAS TO WIN THE POOL!! Congrats to them!

When you fill the bag at 45 porgies per angler, on average 3 lbs — that's a lot of fish! Many of our anglers have done just that!

On July first those limits change to 10 scup per angler, and 20 sea bass.

So what's Capt Leroy say — Go get the FLUKE FLUKE FLUKE!

Being as busy as we've been we are now announcing the return of the  MONSTER FLUKE season! Opening July 1st

Massachusetts holds one of the most liberal limits of 5 fish per angler at 18 1/2 inches! When possible, Capt. Bryon and Capt. ChrisO will go for the *mixed bag* of all three fish using all their fishing experience to try and fill your bags to the limits!

WOW WOW WOW !!!!! So give us a call!!! Charter and open bookings are available!!
Look in the Fisherman magazine for our new ad!

All of us here at Captian Leroy's hope to see you

The season began with a BANG! Huge porgies!!!! Huge sea bass!!!!! We had our limit in less than two hours. We now have a third boat we have running called the R&R. The Captain's name is Mike. So the days the other two boats are chartered we can try to accommodate you. Make sure to call for the full schedule (Phone: 508-992-8907; Cell: 508-728-8832).

Make your trips up to Captain Leroy's sooner than later while the fish are practically jumping in the boat and they are HUGE!! Now if you are the lucky one to catch the pool make sure you come into the bait shop where we have something special for you to take home and let everyone know you caught the BIG one at Captain Leroy's!! We are also starting a mailing list if you would like to be on it come into the bait shop and sign up or you can email us directly with your name home address and email. We went out commercial fishing on the Miss Elaine today. The BIG porgies are in. We had our limit in no time. There was also a few sea bass and black fish.
Looking forward to seeing you on May 15 when the recreational season opens!

I took out the Miss Elaine today. It was just a little shakedown cruise. We stopped at a few blackfish holes and it showed promising signs. Water Temp still a cold 40 degrees. Hopefully with this coming nice weather it will warm up!!

Porgie season officially opens May 15. We have an open boat May 15 and 16. We hope to see you all there!
